homeostasis and associate with metabolic disorders. In addition to the extracellular roles, increasing evidence
suggests APOs might also regulate intracellular events. Besides lipid-binding and amphipathic property which features all APOs commonly, our recent study revealed that many small-sized APOs heavily exchange and frequently mobilize between lipid microenvironment surrounding organelles. My research interests include (1) investigation of the role of apos function in regulation of TG and Chol transportation and metabolism; (2) assessment of the translational application of apos in diseases associated with aberrant lipid metabolism; (3) development novel lipoprotein/apo-based diagnostic platforms for translational applications
